Our Quality Assurance Laboratory has determined that this port contains <6 mg/L of free sulphur. To acquire organic certification, both the grapes in the vineyard and grapes plus the process used to make the neutral distillate to fortify this port needed to be organic. It took until 2002 to make this possible.
