Description
This blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Mauzac is crafted using the traditional method. There will be considerable intensity, with pear, citrus and mineral and an underlying toasty note. Crisp and lively with good length and structure, this will be a fine choice as an aperitif or with seafood mains.

Tasting Notes
This refreshing sparkling wine is made in the traditional method using a blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Mauzac (the traditional principal variety of Limoux in Languedoc). Limoux stakes its claim to being the original sparkling wine region, even before Champagne! Aromas of citrus fruit, toast and nuts on the nose. Dry, with a lovely crisp acidity, bold white fruit, pear and custard notes on the palate. Enjoy this flavourful Cr�mant de Limoux with freshly shucked oysters. (VINTAGES panel, July 2010)
