Tasting Notes
Vinified for 19 months in large oak and a 500-liter barrel, the 2014 Leithaberg Chardonnay displays a very reductive but chalky bouquet with pineapple and citrus fruit aromas. Beautifully pure, refined and salty on the palate, this is a delicate but tight, structured, purely mineral and persistently salty Chardonnay with great tension and energy.
