Tasting Notes
Liebfraumilch is a semi-sweet blend of Riesling with Silvaner or M�ller-Thurgau. The name means 'beloved lady's milk' and refers to the Virgin Mary. This example is floral, honeyed and very pretty, with tropical fruit, lemon, melon and stone fruit. A great aperitif, it would also work well with salty foods such as charcuterie platters, ham or fish. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2018)
