About this product
Harvesting at night allows Cakebread to preserve every ounce of the freshness and fruit purity fostered by the cool Carneros climate. The wine was aged for 15 months on the lees. The lees was stirred weekly, imparting a creamy and round texture and adding additional complexity. Look for pie crust, mineral, and toast to complement the lush fruit flavours. This could be enjoyed tonight with grilled pork or grilled chicken kebabs, but will also reward 5+ years in your cellar.
