Tasting Notes
Layered aromas of cherry, cocoa and plum interplay beautifully with spice, vanilla and cedar tones to create a very pretty nose. The palate is dry and very well balanced and structured. More crisp fruit and cocoa suggestions, with lovely supporting wood and vanilla notes, medium tannins, good acidity, and quite a lengthy finish. Try with a soup featuring tomato, chicken and roasted bell peppers. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2010)
