TASTING NOTE:Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2008 McCrae Wood Shiraz displays intense blackberry and blueberry preserve aromatics with some vanilla and baking spices, mocha, black pepper and a whiff of smoked bacon. Medium to full-bodied, it has crisp acid, a medium-firm level of velvety tannins and a voluptuously fruited, long finish. Drink it now to 2020+.
