Grgich Hills continues in its long commitment to excellence in winemaking through natural winegrowing and sustainability practices, even switching over to solar power in 2006. This powerful Zinfandel teems with sweet raspberry, strawberry and tilled earth, along with notes of white pepper, black licorice and allspice. It's mid-weight and dry, with a touch of Petit Sirah which provides a nice structure. A perfect companion for grilled meats or your favourite pasta with red sauce. This Zin should age nicely for 3-5+ years.
