About this product
The Rufus Stone is named for a memorial to King William II that stands in England's New Forest. Legend has it that it marks the spot where the king died when an arrow glanced off an oak tree and struck him in the chest during a hunting party. The arrow is said to have been fired by Sir Walter Tyrrell, an ancestor of Australia's Tyrrell family. Expect this to be intensely aromatic with notes of woodsmoke, blackberry and pepper spice. Juicy and fruity with more black pepper and oak on the palate.
