The wines from the southern tip of the Côte de Beaune are known for their impressive ability to reflect considerable balance of ripeness and structure . Though yields were low in 2013 , the wines offer great freshness and ripeness and promise to be wines with considerable cellarability . The Domaine Vincent Girardin Santenay Les Gravières Premier Cru will be a fine example of these characteristics .
