Description
The 'hot' (in every sense of the word) 2003 vintage created many wonderful fruit-forward wines, such as this Montepulciano. Enjoy it with hamburgers, gourmet sausages, rich pasta dishes or grilled steak.

Tasting Notes
This is ripe and fruity - so much so that the fruit suggests a sweetness on the palate. There's lots of black fruit, spice and fresh acidity, with just the right amount of tannic grip. This great value wine will cellar quite nicely for another 2-3 years but would also be a lovely option tonight for pairing with anything from grilled sausages to rich, meaty pasta dishes.
