Description
Petite Sirah really shines as a stand-alone variety in western Mexico. Loaded with ripe black and blue fruit, pepper accents, hefty tannins and cocoa notes, it's hard to beat this wine for value. Perfect for spicy meat dishes, or steak-and-cheese enchiladas.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-purple colour with rich aromas of blueberry jam, boysenberry, earth and mocha. Big, plump and full-bodied wine with substantial tannins and a whack of ripe fruit and chocolaty notes. Pair with steak enchiladas, or spicy beef with a Mexican mole sauce. (VINTAGES panel, June 2012)
