TASTING NOTE : A super effort from Stephan von Neipperg ' s estate , this blend of 90 % Merlot and 10 % Cabernet Franc was cropped at 32 hectoliters per hectare , and achieved 13 % natural alcohol . Copious aromas of spice box , toast , white chocolate , and espresso roast are found in this modern styled St .- Emilion . However , its plushness , rich , concentrated fruit , purity , texture , and overall hedonistic and intellectual appeal are undeniable . Drink it over the next 7 - 10 years .
