TASTING NOTE : Orange pekoe tea coloured . Intense bouquet shows mixed peel , honeysuckle , mandarin juice and cinnamon . Hint of maraschino , almond meal and toffee too . Palate is tightly wound , with peanut brittle sweet nuttiness , vanilla bean and cedar . Long , tapering palate finishes with oyster shell minerality and orange pith bitterness . Very intense , perhaps a little too searing for my liking , but shows immense pent up energy and a high refreshment amongst the mixed nut complexity .
