About this product
The 2009 vintage of Montes Alpha Syrah has not been reviewed, but the 2005 through 2008 vintages all received scores of 90 or more on Robert Parker Jr.'s site. Look for attractive aromas and flavours of blackberry, woodsmoke, pepper, blueberry and mineral. Dry and impactful, with solid tannins that will permit 1-2 years cellaring. Will also provide pleasure tonight with backribs or grilled steaks.
